
Olivier
Olivier studied anthropology at ULB (Brussels) and the University of Montreal. He holds a PhD in anthropology from the University Côte d’Azur, where he explored cognitive sciences and sensory experiences.
He entered the world of innovation at the Institut Lyfe (formerly the Institut Paul Bocuse) as a researcher before joining the R&D department at Groupe SEB to establish the first anthropologist position. In 2016, he founded Users Matter. He teaches in the industrial design department at ENSAV La Cambre in Brussels and co-founded the collective Making Tomorrow in 2016 to explore future scenarios. He lives and works in Mehaigne, a small village in the Namur region of Belgium.
